Rip Chris
Chris Rose was a fantastic head teacher to me as a child at Stivichall so much so that as I begun my early career in teaching a very rare vacancy came up at Stivichall and I jumped at the chance to apply! I had such fond memories of my time at Stivichall that I wanted to be a part of continuing this for others. I got the job and still teach at Stivichall now. I enjoyed learning from Chris as a teacher and when he retired I vowed to keep PE going as he did following his outstanding example. He was such an inspiration and will never be forgotten. Today was a beautiful celebration and farewell to Chris. I wish all his family and friends well.
Chris was always very supportive of me during my years at Stivichall, as both a pupil and a member of staff. I was really sorry to hear of this sad news. Thinking of his family.
Mr Rose was my pe teacher at Hill Farm. He trained us for the cross country tournament that we won. I remember he loved the football and remember him saying he loved the group the who. Rip Mr rose great teacher.
So sorry to hear this news. Thoughts are with Isobel and Emma. He was loved by all at the school and is very missed. Sleep tight Mr Rose, love Vici, Holly and Alyssa xx
